The majority of children and young adults are not learning how to sew in the home or at school like so many did in the past. How will the quilting industry continue to thrive if we do not take the time to teach the next generation?
I am passionate about teaching others to sew, particularly the next generation. I am in the minority as a thirty-something woman in the quilting community, but even fewer members of the next generation are learning to sew.
